Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Gerak Luu app, its CarPlay screen and related services, operated by APPVOLUSI SDN. BHD. (“we”). By using Gerak Luu, you agree to these terms.
1. Safety first
- You are fully responsible for how you drive. Always obey traffic law, road signs, traffic lights and instructions from the authorities, even when they differ from the app’s directions.
- Do not hold or operate your phone while driving. Set your destination before you leave, or ask a passenger to help.
- Do not follow a direction that is unsafe, illegal or unreasonable, for example entering a one-way road the wrong way.
2. Information is guidance, not a guarantee
Maps, routes, travel times, speed limits, toll charges and road closures are estimates. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and can be wrong or out of date. Travel times do not account for live traffic. A speed limit shown may be the usual limit for the road type, not the posted limit. Actual toll charges are set by the highway operator. Gerak Luu is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by relying on this information.
3. Your reports
When you send a map problem report (including notes, lines and photos), you allow us to use it to fix the map, search and routing, including contributing map corrections to OpenStreetMap. Do not include other people’s personal information, such as clearly visible faces or vehicle registration numbers, in photos or notes. We may reject or delete reports that are irrelevant or inappropriate.
4. Misuse
You must not misuse the service, including knowingly sending false or spam reports, trying to access other people’s data, disrupting or overloading our servers, or automatically extracting (scraping) data from our API. We may block installations that misuse the service.
5. Map data and ownership
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). The Gerak Luu name, logo and design are ours.
6. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
7. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend or end any part of Gerak Luu, and update these terms. The date above will be updated; continued use means you accept the new terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If the Malay and English versions differ, the Malay version applies.
